Lonely Larch was built on the belief that public lands deserve our voice and our action. Every bag you buy already protects national forests through our ongoing conservation commitment; but let's take it further. 

Every few months, we’ll highlight a place or cause that needs our attention. For that season, an additional 1% of all sales will goes directly to that cause.

You log the miles. Help us fund the trails behind them.

Trailhead is our signature blend — a specialty-grade, South American medium roast with milk chocolate and toasted almond up front and a citrus finish that keeps it bright. It's genuinely great coffee. The trail funding isn't a bonus — it's the reason this roast exists.

WHY TRAILHEAD

Lonely Larch was built in Boise, on Idaho trails. The cleared blowdowns, re-cut switchbacks, and bridges we hike across don't happen on their own — they happen because someone shows up with a crew and a free weekend.

Trailhead is how we put money directly behind that work.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES

  • 1% to the National Forest Foundation — supporting forest conservation nationwide, same as every Lonely Larch product.
  • An additional 1% to the Idaho Trails Association — funding the volunteer crews maintaining trails across Idaho's national forests and wilderness areas.

First Chair is a specialty-grade, Fairtrade-certified, single origin Colombian medium roast — well balanced, no bitterness, with vanilla and chocolate up front and just enough citrus to keep the finish bright. It's a great everyday coffee. The Bogus Basin funding isn't a bonus — it's what this roast was built around.

WHY FIRST CHAIR

Bogus Basin is community-owned, sits inside the Boise National Forest, and has been the mountain for Boise skiers for generations. First Chair is named for those early mornings and funded to protect them, because that mountain deserves more than appreciation.
